The image on the T-shirt belongs to a real person who lived between 1923 and 1992, mother of 5 and grandmother of 8. She was a modest, sober and elegant person. The picture is representative of the elegance of interwar years when more important than the financial means to build an outfit were elegance of spirit, adequacy and attitude. The woman in the picture was my grandmother.
