This play with buttons attempts to recreate the theatrical trompe l’oeil effect, the playful exploration of the boundary between imagination and reality through art and fun.

Here, the trompe l’oeil technique is not necessarily intended to deceive the eye, but to create an illusion that is pleasing to the eye.

One of a kind, white organic cotton, Stanley Stella loose fit model T-shirt with both printed images of colourful buttons and buttons hand sewn into the fabric. All buttons are hand covered with fabric.

The T-shirt can be cut (no trimmings) or retain its factory trimmings. Please specify finishing details when ordering.

Sizes available: XS, S, M, L, XL

In the case of unique and/or patchwork items, further orders will significantly resemble the website photo, but will not be identical.

Delicate hand wash in warm water.

To add to the dramatic effect, the T-shirt can be styled with our Brummelliana Waistcoat, which also has hand-stitched coloured fabric-covered buttons..
