switch, at around 40, to playing with it.
AWE is the story of hundreds of
unnamed dresses imprisoned in
my mind for more than 40 years which
have been crying for freedom, it is the
story of all the dresses admired in the
museums I visited, of old fabrics I ever
touched and of even older fashion &
art tales I ever learnt, of the love for
colours which defines AWE fundamentally.
It is the story I am writing for me and for you
hopefully in a fashionable, cheerful, and
colourful way.

focused on maximising
sales figures, we are not seasonably trendy,
we neither compete nor want to be compared with
mass market fashion brands, we neither copy nor cheat,
we do not use poor quality fabrics and cheap labour, we do not
keep up with the fashion of the day because we dream of timeless fashion.
and we create visual impact designs, some of them as
unrepeatable patchwork apparel in an attempt to offer
collectible items to really convince people to buy less and
therefore buy well in an authentic exercise of slow-fashion.
We use ‘healthy’ fabrics and precious materials recovered in
small quantities from the harmful waste and reintegrated into
our fashion story in an exercise of stylish rebirth. We value
authenticity and look back with gratitude to fashion history,
we have respect for clients and try to provide them with
exquisite workmanship, we are sustainable, responsible and
transparent by using fabrics in an eco-minded manner, by
offering made to measure outfits to perfectly fit the body and
suit the taste, by retaining services for a fair price and by
employing people working in safe conditions.
